Emily Cox creates Raku-fired and hand-painted ceramic sculpture
capturing the dramatic movement and textures of the wildlife, wind and water of the bayous,
marshlands and forests of Louisiana and North Carolina.
Marsh birds and dragonflies animate her vases and wall-hangings.
Each piece is sculpted and carved, fired and glazed in a green, turquoise and copper palette
then infused with the smoke of the Raku-firing process. Visit http://www.untamedclay.com for photos.
